He found a pair of drum sticks........?
My 11 year old son found a pair of drum sticks. He drums on everything.....I can't hear myself think!!! (my mom used to say that) got any suggestions. PLEASE HURRY. understand we just went through a keyboard stage, yes we are proud owners of a casio keyboard, and now that the drum sticks have replaced the keyboard. I'm getting pretty good at twinkle twinkle little star....HaHaHa

I know exactly how you feel. Four of my close friends are all drummers and they never go ANYWHERE without a pair of drumsticks. Not to mention, they are constantly drumming on something. It gets really annoying sometimes.
What they do to help soften the noise is wrap rubber bands around the tip of the drumstick, so that the sound comes out more muffled when they drum. One of my friends also has a rubber pad that he drums on, and it makes the noise less pronounced then drumming on a solid surface does.
I suggest you try one (or both) of those ways, and see if it helps.
