was it a shooting star or something?
i was looking up at the sky. and there was this thing that looked like a shooting star maybe, it was kinda big. the front was bright red like an airplane light, but it had a white tail, it was curved slightly i think. it was very bright, it looked kind of like a firework i guess. it traveled across the sky, but went out of sight over a tall building after a couple seconds.
i don't know anything about space, i have no idea what it was.
What you described is pretty much the definition of a shooting star.
