I am thinking about buying a Laser Star projector for $140.00, Do these things work and are they worth the $$?

They're pretty cool. I've seen both them and the laserpod in action. The verdict?
Laserpod is way cooler in person. But looks nothing like an actual star field. As a bonus it's a nice looking unit too.
The star projector does project something like stars, although the green/blue combo is a bit boring. It's also more expensive, and shoots at a 45' angle rather than straight up.
