Do you think NOW is a good time to start the nursery?
Hubby and I have been collecting stuff up here and there from the early stages of our pregnancy. I am 29 weeks exactly today and I was wondering if you think now would be a good time to really start putting the nursery together? We need to paint the walls fix the knobs on the dresser things like that. My baby shower will be when i am almost 35 weeks and I just want to have everything pretty much wraped up by then! We have so much stuff for her already like the crib changing table swings pack n play pretty much everything. So do you think now would be a good time? And what about washing all the clothes? She has a ton of clothes already! So should we take the tags off wash them and put them in the drawers now? or is it to early? I just want to be prepared! This is our first so we don't know what to expect!!!! Thanks so much!!!!!
I'm with Angie! I would have already started by now if I had all the stuff you do. I can't wait to start putting mine together. I was waiting to find out what we were having first and now we are looking for furniture and what not and plan to get it done as quickly as possible. I would like to have mine completed by the time I hit 30 weeks because I know I am not going to want to when I'm huge and miserable.
I would go ahead and wash the onesies and things of that sort to have them ready, but some of the clothes she won't need until she is bigger so you could always wait on them. At this point whatever I have gotten so far has just gone in the closet. Go for it honey. You better get started now before you run out of time.
