I am really interested in Lighting and sound for drama productions- I just love the technical side of drama basically. When I leave school I want to be a theatre technitian but I dont know what colleges do my course, or if it is even a course that exists. I would like a sound/ stage lighting course all in one but if they are separate thats fine (i dont know if the sound course would come under music technology- i want to learn more about different sound desks, recording kits and mics etc, also i want to learn to use sound forge and acid ect properly)
I live in southampton and have looked at totton and tauntons college so far- i am going to look at bournemouth. Can anyone help with a college that might help me and get the qualification i want?
I googled courses "lighting technician" and got about a thousand hits, including colleges. There would be a lot of info there.
