How does an all electronic band like Daft Punk play live?
I mean, I see how bands like MGMT, and Massive Attack can translate some of the music on to traditional instruments, and play the rest with synthesizers, but Daft Punk can't do that, because it is all electronic. So how does it work? Do they even go on stage? Is it just a light show?
A lot of all-electronic bands do DJ sets. It's true that some electronic groups can translate their stuff to traditional instruments (like Passion Pit) - these groups, in my opinion, put on the best live shows
