What kind of knot to make stage curtain fall?
Hi,
I'm looking for a way to have a curtain/backdrop on stage easily fall to reveal another backdrop behind it. Flying the drop in and out isn't possible so I need a way of dropping the curtain quickly.
Is there a type of knot that will allow the curtain to simply fall when a cord is pulled?

Just use a traditional slip knot.
