Physics help I don't know what the answer to this could possibly be or what the question even means?
Three different lasers are emitting steady beams of light. Each beam consists of countless copies a single original photon of light. However, not all colors can be emitted by a laser. Which of the following choices is possible for these three lasers?
A) Yellow, green, and blue light
B) Green, blue, and white light
C) Blue, white, and yellow light
D) White, yellow, and green light
A.
White light cannot be emitted by a laser because it is actually a combination of all colours of light. Since a laser emits roughly one wavelength at a time, they can't emit all wavelengths in the visible spectrum so can't emit white light. Kind of a trick question.
