Go to your local hardware store and buy a cheap torch. Get some gel from the lighting department of the drama club and stick it to the front of the torch. Get a laser pointer and gaffer tape it to the torch....why do you want a laser pointer anyway? I'm a professional stage manager and I've never needed a laser pointer! I carry two torches; I have a Maglite which never leaves my belt and I also have an LED headtorch which is really really useful when I need two hands for a job.
