Pro Stage Par

Can someone explain to me the Canadian So You Think You Can Dance?
I've only watched one episode, but it's taped in America, right? I'm pretty sure they couldn't replicate the stage to such a degree. Which means the audience is American? The choreographers are the same for the most part, so I don't think they'd be all flown out. However, when Mary Murphy judged, she made it a point to add that she watched last week's show from her hotel room.
Aside from that, does anyone else think the host is doing a pretty bad Cat Deely impression and has none of Cat's genuineness? And the dancers seem not to the par of what the America casts have been the last few seasons. I know it's only Canada's second season, but the choreographers are mostly the same and the judges are all pros, so shouldn't the bar be higher?
SYTYCD Canada is filmed in Toronto. Mary Murphy is only an occasional judge so it makes sense that she watched the previous show from another location. I have to agree on the host but she may improve. Did you watch last season? The dancers are wonderful and if I may say maybe even better than the US mainly because of the talent available from the Cirque de Soleil school.
