why does david beckham thinks the mls is at par with the fmf federation mexicana de futbol???
so beckham thinks the mls is at par mainly due to the results of the super liga please the teams who come there dont even take it as a competition
they take the tournament as a preseason training.. i bet the mls teams would not last the group stage in the copa libertadores like the mexicans do reality is that mexican football is at par with the many of the south american clubs like in ecuador peru chile etc only behind brazil and argentina and the fmx is the 6 richiest federation in the world so beckham shut up the truth is that american soccer is below par and only have the great old players in there clubs .. so hate me americans but its the truth!!!!!!!!!!!
The first and most obvious reason is that the MLS pays his salary.
But you can look at the last few time the two National teams played and find that the US team has had good success against Mexico as a justification for his comments to a degree.
The Mexican League boasts some of the best players in the continent, but lately, the MLS has hired players such as Gallardo, Barros Scheloto, Juan Pablo Angel, Blanco from Mexico, and Beckham himself. This has raised the level of the MLS significantly.
