How do you disable timer on simple LED key chain light?
I have a few flat diamond-like shaped simple LED key chains that I picked up for festivals from Bass Pro Shops. They are small, battery operated lights that change from bright, strobe, and dim by pressing the button under the rubbery grip. I am currently using them to point at a disco ball for lighting effects while we play music at home because they are bright and extremely easy to place and conceal. Only problem I'm having is after about 5 minutes, they automatically turn off and have to be clicked again. I don't mind cracking these things open to disable the auto-off function, but I really need to know if that seems feasible or not and maybe even what I'll be looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
if you are willing to re engineer a trade show handout, why not pull the white LEDs out of the case, remount them, and directly power them from a DC source, this time, adding a switch that does what you need.
