Will putting tissue paper over a window change the lighting in a room?
I'm looking to have a mini Christmas party at my house for just my boyfriend and I. If it is sunny outside, and I open the blinds and put red and green tissue paper over the windows, will it make the lighting in the room darker? I want to try to create more of a Christmas-y feeling in the decorations, and I don't want the lighting to throw it off if it's too bright.
It won't do much in the way of "mood" lighting,
If you put red and green tissue over the windows (one on top of the other, the color will appear brown
