to talk to the dust of my bones
this body is but a vessel
destination? the twilight zone
or a parallel dimension
or another incarnation
someday quantum numbers of dead things
will be crushed into one simple equation

it has an explination lost in the chasms
reft by ancient tidal waves
if through thought and theory
belief springs clear of doubt

the density and mass
of that cold comet's oval orbit
it leaves sparks wherever it may pass
it may be closer the next time
it revolves around its pivot
there is still time to watch the skies
