we're getting married right at sunset so it will be dark when the reception starts. the problem we're running into is that we have 7 medium size trees in the area where the reception will be held which means no tents. we can work around the trees to set up the tables, but since they are different types of trees they're uneven. we've bought some chinese paper lanterns but i have no idea how this is gonna work as far as stringing them up and it not looking tacky. i'm not creative at all.. I live in central tx and september is very hot so i didnt want to use too many candles, but if i have to i will. someone please help
White xmas lights in the trees would be beautiful. Also, if the trees are tall enough (atleast 9 ft or so) you can string a wire from each tree and then the paper lanterns can be hung from that wire. It would make the lanterns appear to be floating in mid air.
