In the PAC at my school, I'll stand in the tech boot and look towards where the stage lights hang, and I can't see the light numbers and everyone else can.
Also, in English my seat is at the back of the class and I can't read what's on the board, and those that sit next to me can.
Is this sort of distance something to be concerned about? Do you think it will get worse?
If you can see things close up but not far away, that's nearsighted. It's easily corrected with glasses or contacts, whichever you're more comfortable with. Seeing distance is needed when driving to read street signs or at a ball game to read the score board. So yeah, go get an eye exam, and it's probably nothing that a pair of glasses won't fix. It might get worse with age, but not necessarily. For example, to get lasik surgery (where they use a laser to correct your vision) your prescription has to stay the same for a couple years or so.
