I want to buy a 30gb Hard Disk camcorder. Since there are so many brands and models I am extremly confused.?
I have narrowed down between G-series model JVC Gz 155 and the Sony DCR SR 42. Does any one have a fair knowledge about the pros and cons of the above two models. Or is there any other good model.
My requirement is for domestic use of family meets, parties and sometimes of satge performances.
Which of the above models are good performers in low light?

Both models have so-so low light performance, but camcorderinfo.com picks the MG155 over the SR42 in their review of the MG155:
