Im gonna have a 18th birthday party soon and I wanted to have some dancing disco lights like the ones you see in clubs and concerts and i was wondering if I would need a DJ in order to operate the lights. because ive went on youtube and looked at "DMX disco lights" and "DJ lights" and from the looks of it, it looks like the lights operate by the beat of the song that the dj is playing and I was wonder if its possible if the lights would work without a dj because i wasnt planning on havin a dj.
No the lights are sensitive to any noise (music, if you clap your hands, anything), so as long as there is some music playing, the lights will just follow. If there is not music playing, don't worry, there is almost always an automatic mode where the lights operate the same way. So either way you'll be fine. I do hope you're gonna have some music at your birthday party though or it will be a bit weird no?
