I have a pair of glasses that I've been wearing for about 6 months now. Well, you know the pieces between the bridge and the lens, that are supposed to rest against your nose? I haven't cleaned them very well, and all the sweat and other moisture (lots of it in Florida!) condensed on that and resulted in this disgusting green-yellow-brown mold. I can't reach into where it's at, so there's no way for me to scrub it. I've tried drowning it in liquid lens cleaner hoping that would kill it without harming my glasses. So, I need to know what I can try next that's safe for the lenses and won't damage my eyes.
Soak your glasses in household bleach like Chlorox to kill the mold and clean up the area. Wash off the glasses well with tap water before wearing the glasses again. Be careful not to get bleach in the eyes
