HOW long does the LED light on the blackberry last?
On my coverage indicator i set it so the lED light blink evryfew seconds i think it just good....I want to know if my LED light will fade over time or burn out if i keep it blinking like that and if it effect my battery life...
LEDs pull milliamps of current, like 0.015 Amps. Your battery can handle a small amount of pull like that for a long time.
As far as the life of the LED, some LEDs for example are rated at 100000 hours. With that said do the math 100000 hours/24 hours = 4167 Days/ 365 days = 11 years
Meaning the LEDs expected time to burn out (not exact) is in 11 years, assuming you would KEEP THE LIGHT ON CONSTANTLY, but your LED is blinking so it is going to last much longer. . .
With that said I think it's safe to say the phones going to die before the LED ever does . . .
