Will Ears Be OK after attending loud concert/club?
If you go to a club with lasers and they get in you're eye is that safe? A lot of night clubs have awesome laser shows, but they get in peoples faces and eyes. Heard laser pointers were not safe to be in the eye, are club lasers different?
Also, if exposed to really loud music in a club for about 4 to 5 hours, will the ears be ok? even if there is slight ringing the day after??
Will award best answer with 5 stars for advice/info! Thanks!
In almost every case, laser light setups are developed and have to be within a certain safety requirement for individuals. Since you are typically far away from the strobes and lasers, they're fairly harmless, especially since the strobe will only focus for a brief period of time. I do hear that the red lasers can be the most damaging though, but only at close distances.
As far as the loud music, the hairs in your ears that pick up sound are very sensitive. If you hear ringing, it means they've been damaged. These hairs often don't repair themselves. Once it's gone, it's gone. If you want to be safe, you should bring some ear plugs just in case it seems too loud.
I have a friend who went to a lot of concerts and went through this, and at age 23 he's already lost considerable hearing. Don't take this lightly!
