A 100 dioptre lens in a CD player fouses a parallel beam of laser light on a disk. Show that the disk is 10mm?
How do I work this out, I want to understand the method for working it out more than anything thanks.
The diopter number is the inverse of the focal length, so the disk must be 1/100 m or 10 mm from the lens.
