Layer of air bubbles on top of water in 29 gallon fish tank?
We've had the air stone inside the decor for almost 2 weeks now and was working just fine. But as of 3 days ago, we notices what looked like foam from a far, but is actually a bunch of air bubbles on the surface.
If I turn the air machine off they all go away.
Why is it doing this? Should I buy a different one? Is there such thing as too much air?
I have 2 fantail goldfish about 1 1/2 inches in a 29 gallon tank which is about 4-5 weeks old.
THIS IS NOT FOAM! IT'S JUST AIR BUBBLES. Just weird it never did it before...
I usually do one every other day because it's a new tank. So thats not it.
It might also mean that you need to do a partial water change. 10-20%
