Is it not high time to pass a law prohibiting political parties switching over to other alliances after polls?
parties like AIADMK,BJD, TELUGU DESAM are in third front in which CPI and CPM are partners .if the regional parties switch over to NDA led by BJP after polls, and the left parties declare support to the Congress, is not defeating the very purpose of people's verdict? people vote in favor of those parties is not in favor of congress or BJp.
In the same manner, Janata dal (U), after polls joins the fourth front led by Lalu and Mulayam and the trunamul congress partner of the congress joins Nda, does not it tantamount to the murder of democracy?
what i want to convey is the pre poll alliances can support other alliances abut individual parties should not switch over to other alliances.
And another law to restrict the number of parties in India, at a maximum of four.
Another law to outlaw the Communist Parties for their pro-China stance during 1962 Indo China war.
Another law for the parties to stay away from caste and religion based politics.
Another law to bar illiterates from contesting elections or to be sworn in as minister.
Remember in Rajsthan Golma Devi, one of the ministers, was given to practice her signature before swearing in ceremony?
