Fireworks Combined Green

I really need some Science help please help me!
If a shiny metal, sodium, is lowered into a jar of poisonous, green chlorine gas, the result produces a brilliant explosion of fireworks. Afterthe rapid burning subsides a new white substance is seen. Sodium Chloride has been formed.
A. Write a word equation for the rection.
B. Because this occured in a closed enviroment, predict how the combined mass of the sodium and cholrine gas before the reaction will compare to the mass of the sodium chloride that is formed.
C. Name and explain the law on which you base this prediction.
A) Sodium and Chlorine yields Sodium Chloride.
