Young's double slit experiment question?
was the experiment just to do with light nothing else ?
firstly done with sunlight and a piece of card ?
i would be grateful if some one who has a laser to try some thing out for me iv got a video showing how to make a 2 slit out of a floppy disk,then hold it close to your eye and look through it see how many faint lines you see,shine the laser on the wall then look at the dot through the 2 slits(not shine laser through slits)now rotate the slit and say if it looks as if there is ringed bands getting bigger and bigger,not straight bands

You can do the experiement with any kind of wave, such as light, sound, or water surface waves.
The ringed bands are called Newton's rings.
