Last night i went into some party and i was sitting there with my friends and some other people were dancing in the center of the stage in which there were a lot of flashing lights just like a disco, etc. And so me and my friends joined in and we were all jumping around but shortly i started feeling a little disoriented and dizzy (i started feeling like "how did i get here?" or "where the hell am i?") With all these people jumping and colored lights so i had to get off the group and apparently i was the only one feeling this way...
It's not my first time feeling this way at parties, is it normal or is it some sort of problem? I really hate it because people think I'm just trying to ditch them.
Flashing lights like strobes can bring about an epileptic effect in some people. You should probably mention this to your doctor. A few painless tests could verify if this is the case and avoid any future panic.
