There was a valentines day dance at my school. I was dacing with my date, and I started to feel really dizzy with all the lights, and it was so hot in the gym...and soo many people.
I started to feel faint, and I don't remember falling at all, just waking up to alot of people looking at me....
I don't do drugs/drinking or I have never had a seizure before...I have felt faint when I was running, but that was with my asthma.
I am a nurse, you probably "vaso vageled" due to the heat and maybe you were dehydrated and excited or nervous or whatever. your heart rate probably got real slow for a bit and that dropped your blood pressure. Thus, not enough blood flow to the brain. The brain is really picky about blood flow! not enough and you will go down or faint and then being horizontal your blood flow to brain improves. I would just be mindful of what happened, and if it happens again you may need to discuss with a doctor.
