Why is my Scanner is not working?
my scanner is a Artec 1236 USB
when i try to scan something a message comes up on my computer that says: "1.Please make sure the scanner connects to the computer 2. Make sure the scanner connects to the power and the LED is on 3. Note that the scanner will not work when connected to the bus power drive"
when i press "OK" another message cones up that says "TWAIN cannot open data source Please reinstall your scanner osoftware"
i have tried everything from plugging my scanner to different USB ports to reinstalling my scanner software over and over
i have also tried installing a software made specifically for windows XP and nothing works. i get the same 2 messages
any help?
Go online and go to the scanner manufacturers website and go to the driver section. It sounds like you need new drivers for it. Or use the link below, however, I am unsure if that is the most recent driver update,
