Who are some forgotten stars?
List some long lost and forgotten stars so others may know their names.
I'll start with...
1) George "Gabby" Hayes (colorful sidekick to actors John Wayne, Randolph Scott, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry and William Boyd in Hopalong Cassidy)
2) Natalie Wood (Miracle on 34th Street, Rebel Without a Cause & West Side Story)
3) Edward G. Robinson (Little Caesar, Kid Galahad, Key Largo & The Ten Commandments)
George Raft - Former song and dance man who joined his buddy, James Cagney, in the gangster films of the 1930s. Smooth and handsome, and with real gangland connections!

Margaret Dumont - Real-life Society grand dame (Pronounced graun daum) who got bored with tea socials, fund raisers, and the "Season" of opera, symphony, pops and every other thing that came along and became an actress. This plucky madam was most famously cast opposite Groucho Marx, who loved her dearly, but would crack lines like "Someday, I'll see you bending over a hot stove...but I can't see the stove!"

Ward Bond - Knockabout ruffian who played football with Marion Morrison (aka John Wayne) at UCLA in the thirties and joined Duke in working for famed director John Ford. Bond was often cast as the heavy (Tall in the Saddle) a cop (Maltese Falcon, It's a Wonderful Life), a priest (The Quiet Man, China Doll) and other characters who always lent humor and grace to every role he played. I miss him a lot.
