Would nuclear fallout effect the colour of the sun?
I'm sure I've heard this somewhere, it's nagging at the back of my mind. Basically I think I've heard that during the early stages of fallout, at dusk and dawn especially, the sun would appear to be a different colour.
I'm justifying it by the same ways we get a blue/red moon. Due to the different density's in the atmosphere. Am I remembering this right? What colour would it be?
yup but i doubt wed be alive to witness it. It'll cause an after effect on the sky because of the particles it emits, they reflect light, this give the sky a beautiful reddish tint to it. This usually causes some very nice sunsets. It Almost always happens with a volcanic eruption, but can also happen from a nuclear explosion.
