How should I word my petition for my school?
okay, so I am 13 and I am a middle school student (8th grade) well last year we had a school talent show. it was for drama club and we had 2 teachers. well now we only have one teacher and she's saying we can't have a talent show! well we (all contestants from last year, stage people, light people and camera people) were all looking forward to doing it again this year. So I decided I am going to make a petition. The only problem is, I don't exactly know how to word it. So can anyone help? This is really important to not only me, but the other drama club members to. It can't be little kiddish, like for example it can't be something i put on lined paper, saying _____ ______ middle school wants a talent show. It has to be serious, something our principle(s) will consider. Please help! thank you

I have written this petition today, to let it be known that the drama club wants a Talent show. The teacher in that class has hereby declared that no talent show will be scheduled, but everybody wants one. Due to the fact that there is only one teacher, we would like to appoint another to help Mr. (or) Mrs. ______ with the judging. I hope this request isn't to hard to fulfil, and that you truly consider keeping the talent show going. Lot's of students in _____ ____ middle school are looking forward to it, and stopping it just because only one teacher is left when there are a whole bunch of others out there, is unreasonable.
I hope you truly and dearly consider your options, before making a decision.
