DMX 512 Chauvet Lighting HELP!?
I am working on setting up lighting with 4 Chauvet Colorsplash Jrs hooking in to a Chauvet DMX-44 board. I don't know much about lighting and cannot get the lights to light up at all. I just have 1 light plugged in right now and I set its DMX channel to 1 (the Chauvet 44 board does not allow channel customization and has 8 channels spaced 16 apart e.x 1, 17, 33 ...).
Can anyone tell me why I am not getting a signal? It is probably something simple. I tried just plugging them in to the wall and they lit up, so the bulbs and fuses are fine.
Right now the light is plugged in with the DMX out on the board running to the input of the light. That is the only connection.

I just went thou this too but with other Chauvet lights. Ok look on the back of your controller try switching the polarity switch a FEW times. If that does not work try holding the program button and the scanner one button down at THE SAME TIME until everything on your controller flashes. IF all else falls call Chauvet they are really nice people. Chauvet = 1 800.762.1084
