Is my Beta okay?
Hello, I just moved my Betta (Female) into a new, larger tank, i'm not sure how much it olds, but I know its big enough for her. Anyways, this new tank has a light, bubble maker, and a new piece of scenerie (sp?). All of which my other one didn't. She seems a LOT happier, shes swimming more, and is chasing around for food flakes (because the blower moves them around a little), she barely ate before, so thats good. But my questions is, She keeps looking at herself in the reflection on the sides of the tank, and uselly stays there for a long time (10-15 minutes), I jsut moved her here about a half hour agao. I dont know if shes jsut checking out the new tank, because she stares at things for a while too, but thats fine. And she has some space to swim faster, wich im happy about. But anywayse, why does she keep looking at herself? I have some background paper, so if its that she dosnt like to see something she thinks is another fish, I can put that on.
Your betta probably thinks there is another fish around, and is looking for them. Don't worry; it's completely normal; my Bettas do it all the time.
